Opened by Levi 'Reggae Reggae Sauce' Roots and approved by the Mayor of St Albans Bert Pawle. “A lot of work has gone into opening this fantastic new takeaway, serving exclusive Caribbean food to St Albans.”

Jerk chicken, ackee and saltfish, cheesy beef, salt fish and callaloo.(Callaloo is a spinach type of leaf vegetable from the Caribbean)

Palms Dumplings (also known as ‘Bakes’) - £1.40
Caribbean dumplings made from a 40 year old recipe. Hand made fluffy dumplings, made with flour and milk then lightly fried.

Saltfish filled dumpling. The blend of flavours is sure to tickle your taste buds.

Palms Fried Fish (single portion) - £3.95
Well-seasoned red snapper fish in a light vinaigrette, complemented with onions and garlic.

Served with any sauce from the menu or good old ketchup.

Palms Jerk Chicken - £5.50 [s]
Tender pieces of marinated chicken seasoned with herbs, spices and scotch bonnet. Chillies can be added and made hotter on request.

Palms Curry Mutton - £5.50 [s]
A traditional dish of mutton infused with peppers and fresh herbs, known for its memorable taste and texture.

Oven baked chicken with fresh herbs, garlic, onions and tomatoes.

Palms Ackee & Saltfish - £5.95
Ackee is a mouth-watering fruit that when cooked has a flavour and texture which is similar to scrambled eggs. It is prepared with salted cod fish, onions and tomatoes - simply delicious!

Red bream cooked in a light sauce and stuffed with onions, peppers and garlic.

Spiced Bun and Cheese - £1.85
Traditional complimentary bite to eat. Combination of sweet spiced Caribbean style bun with a slice of cheese. Simple but effective.

Pop in and check out the “SPECIALS BOARD”, especially on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you are lucky you may experience an exclusive taste of the Caribbean. Be quick - when it's gone it's gone!

Bio-packaging reduces your environmental impact in three ways: it can be disposed of effectively through recycling or composting, it has a low carbon footprint and it is made from annually renewable plants (not oil). Patties are all Halal apart from beef.
